Our Story
Eddie Edmunds, the principal of Mr Fix Ltd, began his career as a young apprentice at the Ministry of Works. His early years were defined by working on heritage and historic dwellings, as well as new builds for various government departments.
During his time at the Ministry, Eddie was granted time off to study at Auckland University, earning his engineering qualifications. This experience in the 1980s, when Rimu timber was abundant and silicone was not yet a standard, shaped his technical foundation.
After the Ministry of Works disbanded, Eddie took his expertise and experience around the world. From England to Switzerland and the USA, he gained a global perspective on building standards and construction practices.

Global Experience
Upon returning to New Zealand in the early 90s, Eddie taught building in Japan, Dubai, and Fiji. He later built new houses for nine builders, a testament to his reliability and craftsmanship.
Today, Mr Fix Ltd brings decades of technical expertise to the forefront of the industry. With a focus on quality inspections and a legacy of trust, Eddie continues to solve complex building issues with precision.
